Community Rules, Values and Code of Conduct

Better B2B is a community for marketers working in the B2B space. Our goal is to create a space for better business to business connections. Empowering members to share knowledge, advocate great work in order to grow, learn and lead together.

Community only works when everyone feels safe, welcome and respected and Better B2B is dedicated to ensuring that through our values and community guidelines.

Connection

This is all about genuine connection, with peer to peer networking, discussions and support. We come together through our work, but also recognise the importance of balance and being human first.

Knowledge

We believe in learning from the best and sharing what we know. We champion thought leadership, encourage openness and value sharing over gatekeeping.

Support

Community is driven by reciprocal relationships, we get out what we put in. Better B2B thrives when members support one another, share experiences and connect peers with the right expertise.

Recognition

Better B2B is the place to celebrate great work, innovative processes and important learnings. Share, support and shout about success.

Purpose

Make real connections and be a force for good, because Better B2B really can lead to better business.

Better B2B Community Guidelines

Our values and behaviours create the foundation for Better B2B:

Be respectful, kind and professional

We are building a welcoming environment together. Treat everyone with mutual respect and consideration. This naturally comes with constructive and open conversation and we maintain that no question is too ‘simple’ or ‘silly’.

Hate speech, harassment or bullying will not be tolerated. This includes (but is not limited to) negative comments about identity and expression, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, political beliefs, race, age or religion.

Promotion or spam

Sharing irrelevant information, unsolicited links or unwanted direct messages will not be tolerated. Better B2B is built on meaningful conversations, not distribution based content.

Anything to drive leads, gather data, services or engagement is not tolerated and will be removed.

No Gatekeeping

Recognition is one of core values. If you are sharing something you learned from another person or source, credit them.

This fosters a culture of respect, openness, and collaborative learning. Future discussion may come from the source but also lead to educational moments where we learn not only from each other’s successes but also failings. Sharing what worked and what didn’t so others can grow too.

Don’t forget to search

Better B2B community is an incredible resource. Use the search function to find out if your query already exists. You might find valuable answers already exist and you can gain insight from community members with the same issues

Moderator discretion

Posts or comments that don’t align with our values or guidelines may be deleted. This is never personal, it’s about keeping our community focused.

Where possible, moderators will provide feedback on why content was removed and how it could be improved for future engagement. Please respect their decision.

How to raise an issue?

Violating our code of conduct undermines the value of our community for everyone. If a member of the community is making you feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it to info@betterb2b.community as soon as possible where our team will assist.
